Well friends, our wonderful Virginia legislature is at it again. No- they are not still pushing to outlaw underwear showing individuals in baggy pants. They have moved onto much more important issues.
Delegate Lionel Spurill has introduced legislation to ban masculine genitalia dangling (aka: “Truck Nuts”) on vehicles since they are a distraction to other drives. Good thing they are looking out for our safety here.
The bill was conceived when someone’s daughter in Spurill’s district saw a pair on a truck while sitting in traffic. If passed the display of ornamentation on a motor vehicle could earn you a fine up to $250. I love those cray Democrats. Perhaps if we weren’t stuck in traffic all the time no one would have ever noticed.
I have seen the “Truck Nuts” before and they warranted a short snicker. Personally I don’t know what would make you purchase and display these on your truck; I don’t really think it should be illegal. My dogs Veterinarian actually has a pair on his truck next to a sticker that says “Have your pet spayed or Neutered”. Is he a criminal? I think this whole thing is a little nutty!
