I can’t wait for election day. Not only will I have a chance to do my civic duty but I won’t have to listen to all the BS that the parties are throwing around. Over the past several years election campaigns have become smutfests filled with lies and useless information.
Polls have clearly shown that constant negative add campaigns do nothing other than anger and further confuse the majority of voters. Why don’t these talking heads get up and say something about politics. If you feel the same way make sure you write your congressmen and let them know how you feel.
Are you a politician or a comedian? I don’t want to see the cute funny side of any candidate. Who ever is writing speeches for these people needs to leave out the fluff and talk about some serious issues. Let us know how you truly feel about something and what your willing to do for us. Let’s discuss politics you idiots…
Why did I go down this dark and dreary path? Well it is the day after a Halloween, but thats not the real reason. Im sure you have heard about the comment (botched joke aimed at Bush) Sen John Kerry made. If not watch the video. This is a prime example of bad politics. If you were discussing real issues and not trying to slam the opposite parties you would not have to worry about sticking your foot in your mouth.
