Nyac the famed YouTube sea otter has died. The otter was Vancouver Aquarium’s old resident. Nyac who lived peacefully at the aquarium was an Exxon Valdez survivor. She was 20 years old.
She grabbed worldwide attention when a video of her holding hands with a fellow otter was posted on YouTube. The video has been viewed over eleven million times.
I remember posting this video on my blog back in April 2007. I can watch this a thousand times a day. What a cutie! Thanks for speading some cuteness on this world.
