MD Public Schools try to Cancel Halloween Celebrations

This really chaps my cheeks! Our neighbors in Maryland tried to get rid of Halloween parties in their county schools. What the hell? Are you serious…

Luckily Councilman Ed Middlebrooks (Annapolis, MD) proposed a resolution asking schools to allow students to have a “small but enjoyable diversion from the academic rigors of a single school day.”. The School Board passed the resolution. Unfortunately the school principals still have the option to not hold Halloween events.

Political correctness is destroying our identities. We are not all the same; we are different. Why are public schools forcing the assimilation of our youth. No Christmas, no Hanukkah, no Easter bunnies or any other possible religious ideology.

Thank God I went to school during a time when a Santa Clause picture could be hung on the wall and we wore our Halloween costumes to class for some fun. Let’s keep adults ignorance from contaminating children’s innocence.

Thank You Councilman Middlebrooks
