Old Man Winter graced us with some snow today. We got about two inches in and around the DC area. Those of us in the burbs got a little more. It was really nice to go Christmas shopping today. Had the holiday music on in the background and everyone was shuffling about in the beautiful snow.
DC being a transient area, driving can be really fun around here. So many people here have never seen snow much less know how to drive in it. One to two inches of snow can really bring this city to a crawl. Im sure schools will be delayed or canceled tomorrow.
Personally I love the snow; the more the merrier! I hope this is only a taste of what old man winter has in store for us this year. As for those who do not like the snow and don’t know how to drive in the snow – STAY HOME…
It actually feels like Christmas now 🙂
