UPDATE: It’s official… Steve Jobs announces FarmVille for the iPhone at the WWDC Keynote 7 June.
I didn’t jump on the iPad wagon first thing… A co-worker brought in his iPad for me to play with; that made me have second thoughts. I have been staying away from the electronics store so I’m not tempted. Unfortunately, my reluctance to buy an iPad may soon end.
It has recently come to light that the Zynga, the makers of FarmVille has acquired farmvilleipad.com and farmvilleiphone.com. Hallelujah!
I’m not sure how Zynga plans to bring the Flash game to the iPad. Apple and Adobe are locked in a head-to-head battle with Flash capabilities on the iPhone and iPad. Zynga has several programming options. I have no doubt they will find a way to bring FarmVille to the Apple devices.
Needless to say, when FarmVille is working on the iPad, I’ll be headed to the store!
