Don MacKenzie of Niantic, Connecticut didn’t cure cancer or run into a burning building to save a child; he simply did the right thing!
Mackenzie purchased the lobster, nicknamed “Lucky Larry” estimated to be around around 80-years-oldĀ from The Dock restaurant in Waterford.
“It takes seven years for him to even become a lobster big enough to keep,” MacKenzie said. “For a lobster to live this long and avoid lobster traps, nets, lobster pots … he doesn’t deserve a bib and butter.”

Don’t get me wrong here… I love me some lobster; but a big shout out to Don MacKenzie for doing the right thing!
